Fiona Bennett
Fiona is our Italian representative and has lived and worked in Italy for many years and speaks fluent Italian, French and German. She studied the Italian Renaissance in Florence and holds a degree in History. She has had much experience leading tour groups throughout Europe during the last twenty years. Fiona also teaches English at an Italian high school and restores decorative furniture in her spare time.

Christine Hoodith
After graduating from the University of London, Chris worked for a number of years in the field of student travel before pursuing a career in theater as an actor, writer and artistic director. After co-founding Discover Europe she has returned to the field of the arts, but still leads tours for the company.

Anne Induni
Anne's family comes originally from Scotland and the Border country, and this shows through in her love of the region. She has led tours throughout Scotland, taking people as far afield as the Hebrides, the Orkneys and Shetland Islands. A retired teacher, and now regional secretary of the Council on British Archeology, Anne combines a lifetime interest in history with a special enjoyment of travel. She also spends as much time as possible each year in Greece.

Gavin Miller
Gavin was raised in England and studied the History of Art at Cambridge University. He then embarked on a career as an actor and painter. He now divides his time between working as a tour-guide, specializing in the Iberian Peninsula, and running his own theater group in Mallorca, Spain, where he lives with his young family.

David Phillips
An Oxford graduate, David took his degree in "classics," minoring in modern languages. He has lead tours in Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Austria and many Eastern European countries. When he is not on the road he works in the London office, helping to take care of the many details that go to make a successful tour.

Anna Spencer
Anna began leading tours in Europe as a university student and speaks five languages. She has lived in Germany, Italy and France as well as in Boston and San Francisco. She teaches in a secondary school in Dorset, England, but still leads tours whenever time and the demands of her family allow. She specializes in European history and particularly enjoys telling the stories that bring a place to life.

David Usher
Husband of Discover Europe co-founder, Chasey Usher, the Rev. David was born in Australia and educated at Oxford University’s Manchester College. Although the duties of his parish in southern England keep him busy, he still manages to lead the occasional tour with, of course, a focus on religious history.
