Q: What quality hotels will I be staying at on a Discover Europe trip?
A: Discover Europe always stays at 3-4 star hotels. We choose all of the hotels used with care, and ultimately choose them due to their location and authenticity. We try to stay in locally owned and run hotels over a large chain when we can. To choose hotels, we will use feedback from past tours, referrals, and reviews online.

Q: How active are your trips?
A: All of our trips are thoughtfully designed with every age group and ability level in mind. While some tours may be more active than others depending on location and the frequency of hotel changes, you will always have the option to take your time if needed on a Discover Europe tour. We prioritize not rushing travelers from one attraction to another. That being said, group tours may include scheduled activities, so it's important to be punctual when the tour guide arranges meeting times and places. You can always choose your level of activity, and if you feel an activity isn't suitable for you, you can opt-out. Our main goal is the satisfaction of the entire group, and participants must be able to keep up to ensure everyone's enjoyment without unnecessarily waiting for others.

Q: How much free time will I get on a group tour?
A: While every tour includes designated free time, such as entire free days and evenings for independent dining, please note that travelers cannot opt out of travel days between hotels. However, you are welcome to opt out of any excursion or scheduled meal/activity during the tour. Nothing is mandatory on our tours, and we encourage passengers to have autonomy and enjoy as much free time as they desire. While it's a group tour, you're not obligated to participate in every activity together!

Q: Can I extend my trip, or can I only travel on the dates of the tour?
A: Of course! We welcome you to travel before or after (or both!) your Discover Europe trip. We frequently will help our passengers work out the details of their extension and are happy to assist with booking hotels and transportation options during your extension. If you have questions or would like us to book something for you, please don't hesitate to reach out!
